Energy Assessment

Routine maintenance ensures your equipment continues to operate at its highest level. After making such an investment, it is important you have it looked at yearly to ensure it is working smoothly. At Trust Home Services we offer energy assessments to ensure your equipment performs at the best of its ability. Our energy advisors will also provide you with detailed solutions based on your lifestyle to help you lower your energy consumption. Think of it like a yearly check-up.

Our Energy Assessments Include

  • In-home assessment by one of our professional Eco-advisors
  • Thorough safety inspection of heating and cooling units
  • In depth energy consumption analysis
  • Qualification for government rebates and incentives

In-Home Assessment

We begin our process by having a THS associate meet with you at your home. This initial assessment is no obligation and free of cost. They do a preliminary assessment of your home, noting its size, wall area and number of rooms. To get an understanding of potential energy savings, they’ll ask questions about how often the rooms in the house are used, if anyone is home during the day, how many people live in your home, and what the average thermostat setting is in both the winter and summer.

Safety Inspection

The main objective of this step is to make sure your units are working safely. Our advisors will thoroughly inspect your equipment to make sure it is working in good order. They will point out any safety hazards and provide you with solutions.

Consumption Analysis

In this step we review your past utility bills to get an idea of your average energy consumption. The goal is to help you lower your bills as much as possible. We also want to make sure that you’re not making any unnecessary payments.

Qualification for Rebates

The government currently has several rebates and incentives up to $2,100 for homeowners who choose to upgrade their older and less efficient systems. Our advisors will educate you on current government rebates which can help offset the cost of upgrading.
